The series consists of a rectangular glass-passivated junction chip in a flat ceramic surface mount package with excellent electrical characteristics. It has a wide operating voltage range from 30 to 600 volts, and a high peak surge energy capability. The junction has an additional outer glass layer insulation to withstand high voltage overshoot and provides excellent electrical isolation from the welded terminal. The package has a wide variety of mounting configurations which makes it an ideal device for various board styles.
