BCS-116-L-D-PE-BE is a two-piece header/female connector system with a standard depth of 10.1 mm. It is RoHS-compliant and provides superior performance in applications operating from 4A up to 20A per contact. The connectors are also strongly resistant to vibration and shock, and can withstand temperatures up to 125°C. In addition, the individual contacts’ metallurgy boasts a 20% higher copper content relative to competition, leading to higher endurance and better electrical performance.

The BCS-116-L-D-PE-BE connectors consist of two distinct pieces: the header component and the female socket. The header, which can be fitted into a variety of systems, is available in single row housing formats with a range of 8–30 ways. It features low profile plastic shrouded male shrouded contacts which maintain a consistent electrical contact even under subjected to vibration and shock loads. The female socket, on the other hand, is designed to plug into the header component and provide a secure connection. It utilizes a special low force locking-device based on stainless steel springs to maintain the secure connection under vibration and shock loads.
