Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) is the process of producing periodic analog signals from a set of digital signals. It is widely used in radio communications and data transmission equipment to generate low frequency, high frequency and broadband signals. The AD9957BSVZ-REEL is an integrated phase-locked loop (PLL) with a Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) engine that is optimized for phase-locked loop applications such as low phase noise clocks, spread spectrum and communications systems.
