This paper will discuss the application field and working principle of the MAX2001ETP+T.The Application Field of the MAX2001ETP+T The MAX2001ETP+T RF mixer is designed for use in RF systems which require high dynamic range performance for both low and medium power applications. The mixer is designed to achieve excellent performance characteristics in a wide variety of applications including wideband high power receivers, transmitters, and digital link systems. It is capable of providing low noise and distortion in a wide range of applications.The Working Principle of the MAX2001ETP+T The MAX2001ETP+T RF mixer is a two quadrature diode ring mixer, which consists of two MOSFET transistors and two FET BJT differential amplifiers. The mixer uses a four-diode ring structure. The first two diodes form the LO injection path, feeding current into the two MOSFETs. The second two diodes form the RF injection path, feeding current into the two BJT differential amplifiers. The input signal and LO signal create a 180 degree phase shift at the output, which results in the output being the sum and difference of the two input signals. This mixer provides excellent Wideband linearity with minimum signal distortion and noise.Conclusion The MAX2001ETP+T is an RF mixer designed to provide wideband characteristics and low noise and distortion levels.
