1. Describe

The LMR14203XMKE/NOPB is a PWM DC/DC step-down (buck) regulator. It has a wide input range of 4.5V-42V and is suitable for various applications such as power regulation from unregulated power supplies. They feature low RDSON (0.9Ω typ) internal switches for highest efficiency (85% typ). The operating frequency is fixed at 1.25 MHz, allowing the use of small external components while still having low output voltage ripple. Soft-start can be implemented using a shutdown pin with an external RC circuit, allowing the user to customize the soft-start time for specific applications. The LMR14203XMKE/NOPB are optimized for load currents up to 300 mA. Additional features include: thermal shutdown, VIN undervoltage lockout, and gate drive undervoltage lockout. The LMR14203XMKE/NOPB is available in a low profile SOT-6L package.
