The LM5025CMTC/NOPB is a high-speed current mode pulse width modulation (PWM) controller. It is suited for VRM or VRD applications or point of load applications with an input voltage range of 4.5-14V and an output voltage range of 1.2-4V. The LM5025CMTC/NOPB is designed to control the power supply of modern computing and communication processors and provides superior voltage regulation with fast transient response. With a current-mode feedback architecture, the LM5025CMTC/NOPB can respond significantly faster than voltage-mode feedback regulators and have increased stability, enabling higher current and power handling capability. The LM5025CMTC/NOPB provides several features and options tailored to ease system design and reduce development time, including synchronized clock operation, leading-edge blanking circuit with an adjustable Blanking Time, and an adjustable maximum duty cycle with a programmable protection cycle for improved efficiency and current protection. The LM5025CMTC/NOPB can operate from 250kHz to 1.2MHz and is packaged in a thermally enhanced micro lead frame package.
