UTP28X8GR is an optical transceiver module designed to facilitate short, fast data connections between network devices in the form of a Small Form Pluggable factor. It provides up to 28 lanes of 10GBASE-SR Short Reach optical connectivity. Along with IEEE 802.3ae 10GbE singlemode compliance, the UTP28X8GR also features an internal Phy and serializer/deserializer. With these peripheral devices, the module can extend usage to beyond Ethernet.
