The TPS2115A is a dual-output Linear Regulator and Synchronous Boost Switch designed to provide a regulated output voltage along with an adjustable level output switch that can be used to enable/disable a load. The LDO portion of the TPS2115A is capable of providing up to 1A of which 50mA is continuous whereas the boost switch can provide up to 3A of continuous current. Additionally, the TPS2115A has two internal ideal diodes that can be used to protect the outputs from reverse current and provide “OR” logic. The TPS2115A is suitable for a wide variety of applications such as cellular phones, PDAs, notebook computers, digital still cameras, and industrial, medical and automotive applications.
The TPS2115ADRBR is a highly integrated PMIC device that combines its dual output linear voltage regulator, dual output synchronous boost switch, and two ideal diodes in a tiny four-pin PowerPAD package.
