AT24C32E-XHM-T is a non-volatile, serial dynamic random access memory (EEPROM) device with a storage capacity of 32 Kbits. It is a member of the Atmel® AT24Cxx family. The memory cells have an endurance of 1 million write cycles for typical use and can tolerate up to 10 years of data retention in the event of an uncontrolled power loss.

The AT24C32E-XHM-T offers many advantages in memory applications, most of which are related to ease of use and cost savings. The lower power consumption capabilities reduce the costs associated with electrical engineering, including the purchase of additional memory components and related components. The long operational life and data retention capabilities of the AT24C32E-XHM-T also reduce costs associated with maintenance, as fewer repairs and replacements will be required. In addition, the EEPROM device can be used to easily implement memory expansion and configuration storage needs. The AT24C32E-XHM-T also has the ability to configure memory spacing and access sequences in order to meet the requirements of different application representations.

The AT24C32E-XHM-T is designed to operate within a supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. It features an SPI bus interface with software write protection capability as well as data protection in the event of an unexpected power failure. The device is organized as 8S pages of 32 bytes of memory, allowing for the sequential reading or writing of data. The operating temperature range for the device is -55°C to +125°C. The package options for the AT24C32E-XHM-T include TSSOP and SOIC packages.

When implementing the AT24C32E-XHM-T in an application, care must be taken to select the appropriate board and use the proper circuitry for the interface. The board used should have a decoupling capacitor and ESD protection as well as other necessary components for the device to function properly.
