LDQ-A512RI is a kind of LED display module with characters and numeric. It’s the most commonly used type for outdoor and indoor LED displays. Commonly used in advertisement field, financial institutions, hotels, restaurants, sports centers, and other public places.
The LDQ-A512RI LED display module has a 5 x 12 character and numeric display area with a resolution of 512 dots and red LED pixels, offering a viewing distance of up to 10 meters and a long life span up to 100,000 hours. It provides an appropriate working voltage range between 5 and 28VDC, and a peak current of less than 100mA per pixel.
The LDQ-A512RI features a variety of control protocols, including UART, SPI, I2C and USB, to provide flexibility for integrating with existing systems. It also provides multiple software interfaces to support UI design, multi-language, editing, display animation on embedded systems. As it is self-contained, the LDQ-A512RI can be operated under stand-alone mode, allowing the user to control it via USB and RS232 instead of an external controller.
The construction of the LDQ-A512RI consists of an acrylic substrate, an integrated temperature sensor, a blinking artificial intelligence, an intelligent light source adjustment, a bi-tool design and strong anti-vibration and anti-moisture protection, making it capable of operating in extreme conditions.
In terms of its working principle, the LDQ-A512RI consists of LCM, a thin film transistor array, an LED array and a circuit board. A thin film transistor array is incorporated in the LED array, electrically connected to the LED light sources. The driving circuit is then used to apply the power to the thin film transistor array, in order to control the luminance of the LED array. Its operating temperature is between -20 to +70 degrees. The waiting current varies from 0.13 - 1A, and its power consumption is app. 3W/sq.m.
