Overview
The SN74LVC1G175DBVR, part of Texas Instruments’ expanding 5-V-tolerant logic portfolio, is a logic-level-agnostic single 2-input D-type flip-flop. Application Field
The SN74LVC1G175DBVR could be used in a variety of applications, ranging from the digital noise suppression in the automotive environment, 3.3-V/5-V clock domain crossing applications, ASIC fall-back designs, low-voltage signaling applications and high-frequency applications. Core Features
This low-voltage device features two data inputs (A and B), two enable (E1 and E2) inputs, and two data outputs (Y and YB). The data inputs and enable inputs accept either 3.3-V or 5-V signals and operate with a supply voltage ranging from 1.71 V to 5.5 V at temperatures up to 85°C. In addition, the device features very low power consumption and high noise immunity. It has an Icc of 2.2 mA and an Ioff of < 1µA when using a supply voltage of 2.3 V, and an Icc of 5.2 mA and Ioff of < 2µA when using a supply voltage of 5.5 V. The voltage signal thresholds are extremely resistant to noise, making this device very suitable for signal noise suppression applications.
Working Principle
When the flip-flop is enabled, the signal; on the A and B pins will be transferred to the Y and YB pins respectively. The logic relationship between A, B, E1 and E2 is defined as followed: when input E1 is low and input E2 is high, the signal on inputs A and B will be loaded on outputs Y and YB respectively, when inputs E1 and E2 are both low, the system will maintain its output state, when inputs E1 is high and E2 is low, the system will be reset and the outputs Y and YB will both be low.
