The MAX14870ETC+T includes both motor control logic and a protection circuit which is optimized for BLDC motors. It includes a high-resistance bootstrap diode, a 3.2V linear regulator, a dead-time control circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection. Its PWM input interface is designed to support both single-edged and complementary PWM inputs, with adjustable dead time for current output.
