It is designed for industrial applications such as machine control, real-time embedded operating system access, automotive control, automation, avionics and other embedded systems where high performance, low power and small size are required. The processor features an advanced instruction set, reprogrammable memory and support for large storage and data transfers.

Working Principle

The P1023NSN5BFB utilizes a Power Architecture processor core with an integrated memory management unit, a rich set of 32-bit embedded peripherals, SRAM and Flash memory. The processor can support a variety of communication interfaces and numerical control protocols. The processor core is programmed through compiled C, assembly or object code, or through microcode. It utilizes a four-stage, pipelined superscalar architecture with instruction-level parallelism, enabling it to execute multiple instructions simultaneously.
