The 16-bit/24-bit core processor is dedicated to strictly control and monitoring tasks, while the DSP is used primarily for audio processing and other signal and time-based calculations.The module includes a large number of digital and analog peripherals that are optimized for use in embedded applications. Onboard digital peripherals include UARTs and I2C bus interfaces, timers, PWM controllers, ADC, DAC, EEPROM, and up to 32KB of on-chip Flash memory for instruction storage. The module also features a 10/100Mbps ethernet interface.
