This makes the MAX5910ESA+ ideal for applications that require precise control of the power supply such as industrial and automotive computer server applications, or any other application that requires a precise enable / disable control of the power supply module.The MAX5910ESA+ also provides the ability to control multiple power supply rails in the same system. This allows for hot-swap operation of multiple power supplies, as well as monitoring and controlling each power supply separately. The MAX5910ESA+ is a PMIC hot-swap controller, which means it is able to monitor and control the power supply and the inrush current of a system.
