The CDC2351QDBRG4 is a quad differential fanout buffer with clock and data skew minimization. Designed to meet the requirements of high-speed memory systems and communications applications, the CDC2351QDBRG4 features four independent, low-skew differential fanout buffers for distributing clock and data signals. It comes with an integrated input and output termination, thus minimizing the need for external components. This buffer is suitable for applications in high speed clock distribution, communications and memory systems.

Clock and data signals are often skewed due to differences in trace lengths, routing and other environmental factors. To minimize this skew, the CDC2351QDBRG4 uses on-chip delay lines, each of which compensates up to 4ps of delay within one of the four fanout buffer outputs. This not only minimizes the clock and data skew, but also improves system performance.

The CDC2351QDBRG4 also features an integrated input and output termination to ease the clock and data fanout. This simplifies PC board routing and minimizes the effects of trace length variation. Furthermore, the terminations reduce skews and ringing for improved system performance. The termination circuitry is enabled through TTL control pins, allowing the user to select either differential or single-ended termination.
