Working Principles

The ACPL-5160-200 Isolator features a high level of galvanic isolation between the input and output circuits. This isolation ensures that the input and output circuits cannot interact with each other and can only be switched by the signal that is provided to the Isolator. The Isolator is able to switch up to 4A and deliver high switching speed. It can be used to control and drive devices with an input voltage of up to 12V.

The Isolator will detect the input signal and then generate a suitable output signal to drive the device.
