Its low voltage on-state output impedance reduces ringing on the output side. Additionally, the ACPL-5161-300 offers UVLO protection to guard against push-pull rattle.The operation of the ACPL-5161-300 is based on a two-pole, optically coupled isolator structure which provides isolation between a driver side and a receiver side with an insulation rating of 609Vrms. The driver side is powered by an additional VCC supply pin, which allows the driver side voltage to be adjusted independently from the receiver side and allows for a current level adjustment. The device also allows a dead-time between the two signals to be set via a dedicated pin.The ACPL-5161-300 also offers a built-in TUV optically-coupled isolation device.
