ACPL-827-30BE is a type of optoisolator that uses an LED and photoreceptor to transfer the signal from one circuit to another. The LED is driven with an input signal and the light energy is transferred to the photoreceptor, which in turn transmits the signal back to the second circuit. This type of optoisolator offers excellent isolation and low propagation delays, which ensure high signal fidelity. The device is protected by an ESD protection structure and a wide range of transient protection features which offer high reliability in the system. It has a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V, and a higher output voltage range of 4V to 18V. It also provides noise immunity up to 1kV/μs, and voltage transience protection of 2kV HBM. Additionally, ACPL-827-30BE provide a reliable long-term data/signal transfer.
