The PWM signal is used to control the on/off times of the high-side and low-side MOSFETs which in turn switch the input voltage to the output voltage.The VI-B4R-IY-F2 DC-DC converter can resist a wide input voltage range and is also very efficient due to its low power loss and high power density. Its high-side MOSFET and low side MOSFET has an opposite switching sequence so that the Power Dissipation is minimized. It can also operate in a wide operating temperature range, from -20°C to +85°C.The VI-B4R-IY-F2 DC-DC converter also features soft start, burst/pulse mode current limit, frequency synchronization, and a wide range of pin compatible versions.
