LTH-301-47

The LTH-301-47 is an optical sensor for detecting the passage of an object or material through a narrow gap. As a photointerrupter, it contains a light source on one side of a slot, a phototransistor detector on the other side, and a mechanism for blocking the light. An interruption of the light by an object passing through the slot will turn off the phototransistor causing an electrical state change. The LTH-301-47 can detect objects as thin as 0.55mm and as small as 1.5 x 6mm or larger through the 14.5mm long slot.
