LP2995LQEVAL is an evaluation board that can quickly evaluate the operation and performance of the LP2995 LDO (low drop-out) linear voltage regulator. An evaluation board is an essential tool for engineers and DIYer’s alike, allowing users to quickly debug and test prototype designs. Instead of investing in more complex, expensive products like development kits, evaluation boards are a low cost, affordable alternative. LP2995LQEVAL, in particular, is ideal for evaluating the operation of the LP2995 LDO linear voltage regulator.The LP2995 LDO is a family of linear voltage regulators that are designed to deliver a low drop-out voltage and very low output noise. It is available in three-lead through-hole or six-lead surface mount packages.The LP2995 offers precise 1%.0.5%, and 0.2% accurate voltage references that are adjustable over a wide range of input and output voltages. Also, due to its robustness and low-noise operation, the LP2995 is suitable for a variety of applications, including precision RF circuits, audio signal processors, and sensor systems.In order to evaluate the performance of the LP2995 Linear Voltage Regulator, the LP2995LQEVAL provides an easy-to-use, easy-to-program apparatus. The board comes fully assembled and is ready to use out-of-the box. It is powered by a single power supply, from a batteries. As a result of the unit\'s low power requirement, the board fits in small test spaces such as equipment enclosures and desks. Using the onboard button and two-position switch, the LP2995LQEVAL can be programmed for various operations, such as sequencing, soft-start, programmable current limit, and voltage tracking.
