Fixed Inductors

A Fixed Inductor is such an elecrical component which inductors or coils of wire which is relatively unaffected by temperature or changes in its environment. In the field of electronics, these are used to filter out undesirable frequencies or store energy in the form of magnetic fields. They are often used as an input to a circuit to help store or filter electrical signals.

The MS18130-6ST, also known as an automatic circuit filter, is one such example of a fixed inductor. This specific part is designed specifically for high current applications and is ideal for use in power supplies, as well as many other applications. A unique feature of this particular type of fixed inductor is its ability to function as a low-pass filter for the DC components of the input signal.
