BOOST5545ULP, a standard evaluation board with an embedded microcontroller (MCU), is designed to provide the end user with a comprehensive set of functionality. The board is based on an advanced microcontroller unit (MCU) operating at speeds of up to 65 MHz, equipped with 32-bit SRAM and Flash memories as well as all the necessary peripherals for the development of the desired application. BOOST5545ULP evaluation board is highly suitable for embedded applications using the MCU, DSP and other peripherals.
The evaluation board comes with a wide variety of features, such as power efficiency, high performance, protection from electrical noise, fast programming, and more. It also features a powerful graphical user interface (GUI) for configuring and controlling the board. This GUI provides a powerful development platform for embedded applications by allowing advanced customization and function tweaking.
The board includes the following features: four 16-bit timer/counter, one 8-bit timer/counter, 5-channel 10-bit analog-to-digital converter, up to 69 input/output (I/O) ports, on-chip analog comparators, low-power wakeup-on-timer functionality, an I2C slave interface, and integrated SPI interface. It also includes a powerful CPU, featuring 32-bit instruction set with a rich array of hardware data manipulation instructions.
The board comes with two dedicated USB ports, one UART port for debugging, and an infrared receiver and transmitter. The board also comes with an optional 8-channel direct memory access (DMA), as well as a memory expansion port for adding external memory cards. In addition, the board offers an optional Ethernet controller to provide an extra layer of security.
