THS5671EVM is an evaluation module (EVM) that showcases the features of the Texas Instruments THS5671 high-speed differential-output 14-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The EVM is designed to provide a platform to evaluate the THS5671 device, enable quick prototyping of custom applications, and serve as a reference design for production boards to be used in demanding high-data rate applications. The THS5671EVM, which is powered by a small lockable 5V power supply, is a hosted board that includes the THS5671, environment sensor ADS1015, multiple decoupling capacitors, on-board ROM header, and user adjustability. The board also includes digital and analog I/O, enabling an easy connection for sampling of the differential output at any frequency up to 100MHz. The THS5671 device is a differential-output DAC that delivers 14-bit resolution at low power dissipation with minimal distortion. It is designed for dynamic performance and a wide dynamic range up to 125MHz sampling rate. The device\'s small size enables users to build portable or miniature products with superior performance. The THS5671EVM is the ideal platform for rapid prototyping and project development. It is designed to enable quick access to the features of the THS5671 device and reduce the time to design from concept to a working prototype. It also provides a convenient way to evaluate the performance of the device at site. The board includes an environment sensor (ADS1015) used for evaluation of temperature variations for the THS5671 device. The EVM\'s working principle is relatively simple. The device itself takes an input data as digital code and converts it to an analog voltage. The THS5671EVM is equipped with a small Analog-to-Digital converter (ADC) that samples the analog input and converts it into digital code which is stored in the device\'s internal memory. The board also contains multiple decoupling capacitors which help to minimize the noise induced in the analog signal.
