The EVAL-AD7767EDZ is a high performance, low power evaluation board designed for use with Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs). It is the ideal evaluation board for the AD7767, the industry’s first ADC with an integrated 4WD system for use in the power supply, signal and data processing markets. The board is specifically designed for use with the AD7767, and provides a very efficient evaluation framework for evaluating various analog-to-digital conversion technologies.The primary purpose of the EVAL-AD7767EDZ evaluation board is to evaluate the performance, conversion speed, and power consumption of the AD7767 analog and digital converter. The board provides an easy and convenient method to measure and test the performance of the AD7767. It is also designed to provide the user with an insight into the power consumption performance and capabilities of the AD7767.The EVAL-AD7767EDZ board features an array of analog-to-digital converter interfaces, including an RS-232 port, USB port, JTAG port, D-sub connector, Mitec socket, and general purpose I/O port. It also includes a 3V DC power supply connector and a 50-pin expansion board for analog-to-digital conversion. Furthermore, the board includes two 4-wire header connections for the digital SPI bus connection, a full-scale reference voltage header, an oscilloscope header, and a power supply ribbon cable connection. All of these features facilitate easy connection and test of the ADC.The EVAL-AD7767EDZ evaluation board uses the AD7767 analog-to-digital converter, which is the world\'s highest performance ADC with an integrated 4WD system for use in applications such as signal and data processing markets. It provides an extremely low power consumption of only 200mW total, enabling it to provide an extremely efficient and reliable conversion in all applications. The AD7767 offers six digital outputs, two of which are used for the reference voltage in which the other four provide a full-scale output. The board is designed to provide an ADC conversion rate of 30 MSPS and an effective resolution of 16 bits or better.The AD7767 utilizes a Multi-Loop System topology for its analog-to-digital converter interface, with an input-stage comparator, a 20-bit preamplifier, and a very low-power 12-bit delta-sigma modulator, offering great flexibility in its operational frequencies. The board is designed to maximize flexibility and can be used to accommodate various application requirements. Additionally, the board also features a wide variety of external components including Reference Voltage, Clock Generator, and sample rate decimator.
