The mixer functionality, meanwhile, covers the same 0.45 to 4.75 GHz range with excellent insertion loss of 11.5 dB. This feature eliminates the need for external components and simplifies circuits overall.The board also comes with an exposed board area, allowing designers to add additional circuitry to extend the functionality of the board.
