TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression)Mixed Technology has taken surge protection to the next level. It enables customers to protect their equipment with both noise suppression as well as voltage control, providing both real-time protection and optimal power ratings. It comes in two forms – one for AC protection (Mixed AC Protection) and one for DC protection (Mixed DC Protection).

Mixed Technology combines the advantages of Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) and Zener Diodes. TVSs provide an effective way to suppress overvoltages by providing a fast “surgical” response, where Zener Diodes provide a more gradual type of protection. The combination of these two technologies in a single package provides not only a solution that is more reliable and robust than either component alone, but also reduces size and complexity.

Mixed Technology is ideal for protecting sensitive telecommunications, audio and medical equipment from lightning and electrostatic discharge strikes. It can also be used to protect consumer electronics, automotive, and mission-critical applications.
