K8AB-PA2 is a multifunctional current/voltage relay that works on a combination of monitoring functions. When used for overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection, the device monitors the difference between the input and the output voltage. In the event of an overvoltage or an undervoltage condition, the device will trigger a relay output, cutting off the output and resetting it again after the over or under voltage condition is gone. Also, for overcurrent protection, the device monitors the amperage going through the output circuit. When the current going through the output circuit reaches a certain preset value, the device will trigger a relay output, thus cutting off the output and resetting it again after the overcurrent condition is gone.In addition to these monitoring functions, K8AB-PA2 also provides a time delay to the output. This time delay is adjustable from 0.05 to 300 seconds, giving the user the flexibility to adjust the time delay according to their needs. In addition to this time delay, the device also features an adjustable instantaneous restart time, which is the amount of time that the device will wait before it resets the output after a fault.Conclusion
