NE556DBR is a Programmable Timers and Oscillators designed by Texas Instruments that can be applied in various types of applications. It consists of two individual, high-speed, high-current 555 timer ICs in a dual-in-line package that can be used to generate accurate timer delays and oscillating output signals.The device has many features including low-to-medium frequency oscillation, adjustable-amplitude square-wave output, adjustable-frequency, high-temporature stability and very low power consumption.When it comes to the application field, NE556DBR can be used in various applications such as digital frequency synthesizers, LED blinking, timekeeping systems, and analog to digital converters. Apart from its uses in these fields, NE556DBR can also be used in audio signal generators, audio amplifiers, noise generators, signal conditioning circuits, and signal inverters.As for the working principle of NE556DBR, it is based on the 555 timer IC. The NE556DBR consists of two independent 555 timers that can produce accurate timer delays and oscillating input signals with a wide range of frequencies.
