It features the surface mount (SMD) package with size 27.5mm x 23.0mm x 14.7mm.The RX-8801JE:UA3 ROHS operates as an industrial real-time clock with RS232 communication, maximum data rate up to 115.2Kb/s. It is compliant with RoHS requirements and can be used in multiple industries and applications, such as IoT applications, automotive, medical monitors, and industrial control rack, etc. It has two fixed timing modes: full-clock mode or half-clock mode. In full-clock mode, the RX-8801JE:UA3 ROHS can accurately measure and keep track of full real-time clock (seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years) with a high accuracy rate. In half-clock mode, it can measure and keep track of only the upper half (days, months, and years) of a real-time clock, with regards to accuracy rate.The RX-8801JE:UA3 ROHS consists of two components: the main board and a 4-port serial port extension board (R6668). The main board contains a real-time clock IC, which is capable of withstanding extreme temperature variations; and a RTC controller for controlling the real-time clock IC. The 4-port serial port extension board allows for communication between the main board and external industrial control modules.
