SOMOMAP 3503-10-1672IFCR is a submodule from SOMOMAP Family of products. It\'s a dual-core module aimed to provide high-performance embedded solutions for specific applications such as industrial PCs, medical and industrial instrumentation, scientific research equipment, machine automation, etc. The 3503-10-1672IFCR is based on a dual-core architecture and is built around 5 key components, i.e. SOMOMAP 3503-10-1672 IFCR processor and power management module, SOMOMAP System Memory, SOMOMAP FPGA module, SOMOMAP Ethernet support, and SOMOMAP Embedded I/O solutions. The combination of the 5 components provides an overall system with high-end computing power, fast reconfigurability, improved system response, low power requirements and cost savings.
The SOMOMAP 3503-10-1672IFCR processor is a high-performance dual-core MCU with operating frequency of up to 1.8GHz and two integrated dual-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs. The processor also incorporates a Rich-Cortex GEM Memory Controller and an additional Cortex-A53 Core for secure boot support. The power management module manages power consumption by containing voltage regulators, switches, and other power control elements. This module works in conjunction with the processor and a system\'s power source to protect hardware from over-voltage, overcurrent, over-temperature, and other risks.
The SOMOMAP System Memory provides up to 8GB SDRAM for storage and operational memory. It is a single channel, shared-bus memory system which is connected to the processor or FPGA module via an internal or external address and data bus. The SOMOMAP FPGA module is a configurable system which is capable of providing improved system flexibility. The FPGA module can support and expand I/O, communication and memory interfaces. The SOMOMAP Ethernet support provides connectivity and communication to external devices through Ethernet such as Gigabit Ethernet, 10/100 Ethernet and other protocol support. Finally, the SOMOMAP Embedded I/O solutions provide additional robustness and low power implementation as well as industry standard connectivity options such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, and analog inputs.
