The System on Chip (SoC) Embedded M2S005-VFG400 is a powerful device that is used to cost effectively reduce the system requirements of a wide variety of applications. This single chip also includes a dedicated Memory Access Controller, that is used to control the CPU access to the memory, ensuring that the right data is accessed. Furthermore, the M2S005-VFG400 integrates a dedicated Memory Interface (MIF) for direct access to the system flash, SRAM and DDRAM as required.

The M2S005-VFG400 also offers significant savings in system power consumption, compared to conventional SoC designs. This is enabled by a combination of hardware and software optimizations that are implemented into the device, as well as the on-chip power management controller.
