Embedded system on chip (SoC) technology is a form of integrated circuit (IC) technology that allows for the integration of multiple components on a single chip. Xilinx\'s XC7Z030-2FB484I is a SoC system platform for embedded systems applications. The XC7Z030-2FB484I platform integrates a variety of on-chip components, such as clocks, memories, transceivers, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, DSP slices, and configure blocks. It includes a single-channel PCI Express edge connector for flexible customer-specific I/O, and a large number of behind-the-clock FPGA fabric connections for user-defined custom logic implementations. This SoC platform also includes high-speed serial link and on-chip memory interfaces, as well as configurable clock and power management.
The XC7Z030-2FB484I platform operates on a variety of high-speed, low-power system architectures, including Altera Cyclone, Xilinx Spartan, and RISC-V.
