The NE5532N series is made up of several devices with various temperature grades, power dissipation, input/output connections and operating characteristics that have been designed to meet a wide variety of application demands.Application FieldsNE5532N series op amps are used in a wide range of applications, such as audio signal processing, audio mixing and filtering, voltage amplification, signal regeneration, signal switching, signal detection and so on. Furthermore, they are used to process signal from communication systems, stereo systems, scanners and other audio processing systems.Working PrincipleThe working principle of the NE5532N series is based on the basic design of a differential amplifying circuit, where two independent transistors are arranged in a bridge configuration and fed by a common input signal. The inputs of the transistor bridge are connected with a negative feedback circuit to ensure that the inputs have the same voltage when the common-mode voltage variation occurs. The output signal of the bridge is then amplified by another transistor stage and finally delivered to the load.The NE5532N series op amp is designed to deliver a bias current to both input transistors such that the output signal remains stable under different operating conditions.
