The LM393DGKR is an extremely versatile logarithmic analog device which is primarily used as a key component in power control and regulation systems. As a comparator, the LM393DGKR performs an integral role in the detection and conversion of analog signals into digital signals.

The main working principle of the LM393DGKR is to compare two input voltage levels. The LM393DGKR will then generate an output voltage commensurate with the difference between the two reference levels. Depending upon the comparison operation required, the LM393DGKR can be configured to have either positive or negative polarity output.
