The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB chip is a part of Texas Instruments’ wide range of Voltage Reference products. This part is a selected highly accurate, pressure compensated 5V voltage reference. It provides a 5V output voltage in the range of 5.1 to 5.2V when applied with a 10 mA load. The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB is used in many applications ranging from general avionics, industrial automation to automotive, communications and other high-precision measurement equipment.The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB voltage reference is a highly stable integrated circuit which has a wide range of applications due to its very low temperature coefficient, good stability and low power consumption. The voltage reference operates on both AC and DC power supplies, allowing for a wide range of supply voltage conditions. It is also capable of providing a highly accurate output voltage, which is necessary for many applications such as automotive, communications and automations.The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB is a highly temperature-stable Voltage Reference with excellent precision and stability of 5V output voltage. The voltage is temperature compensated as the output voltage is specified over a wide range of temperatures (from -40°C to +125°C). The output voltage remains almost constant over the temperature range and its characteristics are very linear and uncontaminated by noise. The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB has an internal 5.0V Zener diode to provide the desired voltage accuracy even during sudden load transients. The typical temperature coefficient is 5 ppm/K.The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB is designed to work with low power dissipation (<25mW). It also has an extremely low input bias current of 1.5uA, making it ideal for high precision measurements. The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB has an input impedance of 10 Megohms, making it excellent for applications where long distances and/or high noise levels are present.The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB voltage reference uses a proprietary circuit design to achieve high accuracy. The circuit incorporates a double P-channel MOSFET current steering system and a temperature tracking circuit. The double P-channel MOSFET system ensures a very low output impedance and temperature dependency which allows for high accuracy over a wide range of temperature changes. The temperature tracking circuit provides controlled thermal compensation. The circuit also has protection against overvoltage and undervoltage conditions to protect against component damage.The LM136AH-5.0/NOPB can be used in a variety of applications. It is primarily used in electronic equipment such as computers, in automotive systems, communications equipment and in industrial automation systems. This part can be used in applications where the precise control of the output voltage is essential. It can also be used for precise voltage monitoring and reference voltage setting.
