The Control Board (also known as the Base Board) integrates the on-board debug and programming interface, and provides power and ground connections for the board. The EZRadioPro Software Driver, which is downloadable for free from the Silicon Laboratories website, is used to configure, debug, program, and control the WRL-14280 Evaluation Kit.To work with the WRL-14280 Evaluation Kit, the user starts by connecting the kit to a PC via a USB cable and installing the EZRadioPro Software Driver. Once connected, the user can use the software to configure the ICs on the RF Evaluation Board and perform a calibration of the components. The software also allows the user to configure the RF frequency band, receive and transmit timing, and other parameters.
