Terminal Blocks - Barrier Blocks0387098332 is a terminal block that is solution for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) when wiring. The blocks provide an isolation barrier and enable pre-terminated cables to be connected between a protected area and the rest of the electrical system. This can also provide machine builders with cost savings as well as quality improvements.Application FieldDue to the benefit of having high quality connections, terminal blocks with EMC protection are often used in applications exposed to interference. This includes products used in medical, consumer electronics, process and measurement technology as well as for automotive applications. Wiring applications are typically used to connect the PCBs and components of machines, control cabinets and switchgear.One element of terminal blocks is the cage clamp. This is typically used in applications where multiple wires need to cross a ‘rubber grommet’ for ISO/DIN tools.Working PrincipleThe 0387098332 terminal blocks incorporate an internal barrier and integrated electromagnetic shielding which act as a Faraday cage. The Faraday cage protects against EMC interference and modulate emissions generated from switchgear, as well as interference from the outside environment.The blocks also have a special tape which, when connected, provides good and reliable insulation for the power supply chain and protective earth circuit.The use of the 0387098332 terminal blocks optimises the assembly time process and makes it much more efficient.
