Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are electrical capacitors with an anode made of a pure aluminum foil with an etched surface. The aluminum surface is covered with an insulating oxide layer, the anode oxidizing and passivating in a process called "forming".
