Working Principle

This 200V time-delay fuse relies upon dual-element design and construction to protect against damaging currents in motors, transformers, and capacitor devices. The operating component, a ceramic tube, contains two fusible elements. The first element acts like a normal fuse, responding rapidly to overloads and short-circuits. The second element operates with a delayed response to momentary overloads, surges, and current that starts low and increases over time.
