24C01C-I/MC is a low-power, high-performance serial EEPROM from 8-pin SOIC package. For writing, the process is similar, but the data is sent from the master to the 24C01C. After 2 clock cycles, the data is written and will remain in the memory until it\'s erased. The 24C01C can be erased with a single command code.

The 24C01C also supports self-timed write cycles, allowing data to be written without requiring an external clock, as well as a hardware write-protect mechanism and an output enable pin to disable the output when necessary. Additionally, the 24C01C has a CRC error checking mechanism to ensure data integrity.
