The staggered contact configuration allows for two rows of terminals to be placed side-by-side. The electrical performance is enhanced by the integral ground bus, a cross-resilient contact design, and insulator construction which minimizes signal crosstalk.The 5050663010 has two different termination options. The thru-hole version enable board-to-board temperature cycling, and the surface mount version is designed for high speed circuit boards. The thru-hole version consists of two sets of contacts: two rows of pins to mate with two rows of insulated terminals, and two rows of separately insulated terminals to mount on a daughter board. The contacts are designed for easy insertion into a printed circuit board. The thru-hole contacts can be terminated using solder, crimp, or other approved solderless hardware.
