Similarly, when the cathode acts as the negative pole, electrical charges are repelled from the anode and the current flows in the opposite direction. In this way, an electric charge is stored in the capacitor.The dielectric material between the two plates of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor controls the potential of the electric field generated inside the capacitor. In 687SMH016M the dielectric material is a non-solid electrolyte. This electrolyte allows the anode to absorb and store electrons until the capacitor is fully charged.
