Working Principle of 7304-05-1010

At the core of 7304-05-1010 reed relay is an electromagnet coil. When the coil is energized by a voltage, a magnetic field is created, which induces the reed element to move into an “open” position. This movement is then transmitted to the contact element, which breaks the circuit and the power is no longer able to flow from the source. To restore the power flow, the coil must be de-energized and the reed element returns to its original position due to residual magnetism. The contact element also closes the circuit and the power flow is restored.
