RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)Transponders, Tags and Devices are designed to provide automated identification and verification capabilities for the physical world. Radio frequency identification is an electronic identification technology that uses radio waves for data transfer. RFID Transponders, Tags, and Devices can be used for many applications including item-level tracking, asset tracking, and access control.
75-4700-2660-2 Application Field and Working Principle
The 75-4700-2660-2 Transponder and Tag is specifically designed for access control, security, and identification applications. This RFID Tag uses a 125 kHz working frequency and features an internal printed antenna along with a lockable read-only feature. The tag is ideal for tracking and validating access on permanent gates, lifts, doors, and locker systems. The RFID Tag operating range is 1.5 feet (0.45 m). The tag has a total memory capacity of 256 bits which consists of 8-bit Start and Stop codes plus 240 bits of user-programmable memory.
The 75-4700-2660-2 Transponder and Tag operates in an active RFID mode and is powered by a 9VDC battery. It has an RF transceiver, which transmits and receives data from both the field device and the base station. The tag includes a radio frequency receiver to detect signals from the reader/base station. When the tag is in RF communication range of the reader/base station, the tag transmits and receives data and the necessary power for proper operation. This data is used to initiate an action of either opening a door or allowing access to an area dependent upon user programmed actions stored in the tag memory.
The transmitted data from the tag is read by the reader/base station’s control unit. This allows the control unit to verify the action to be performed. The 75-4700-2660-2 Transponder and Tag supports various operations such as multi-credential authentication, access control, time and attendance, locker usage monitoring, among others. This tag is compatible with other RFID tags used by your institution and can be incorporated into an overall automated access control solution.
The 75-4700-2660-2 Transponder and Tag is designed for long-term, reliable performance eliminating the need for periodic battery changes. The tag is designed to last up to 10 years and requires minimal maintenance. The tag is very simple to configure and easy to use making its deployment and management efficient and effective.
The 75-4700-2660-2 Transponder and Tag is a reliable, durable, and cost-effective RFID solution for access control, security, and identification applications. This tag has all the features and functionality you need to secure your environment. It is a great choice for organizations looking to add a high degree of security and automated access control to their operations.
