If the actual output current is above of the targeted output current, the Error Amplifier will trigger the device’s internal MOSFET and decrease the output current until the correct target output current is achieved. Conversely, if the actual output current is below of the target output current, the Error Amplifier will increase the output current until the correct target output current is achieved.
