The AD7878LN is a general purpose 16-bit, ultra-small successive approximation register (SAR) analog to digital processor (ADC) designed for use in embedded and mobile applications. Replacing traditional large and bulky external ADCs and multiplexers, the AD7878LN provides an accurate, low-cost and compact solution with very low power consumption. It is packaged in a small QFN package (3 mm × 3 mm, 0.65 mm pitch) and operates with a single external reference. It is designed for operation from a single supply and provides a wide range of input voltage scaling and temperature operating range up to 90°C.
