ADG1208YRUZ-REEL7 Application field and Working PrincipleInterface - Analog Switches, Multiplexers, DemultiplexersThe ADG1208YRUZ-REEL7 is an 8-channel, fully-differential switch featuring high voltage, wide input common-mode range, low power consumption, and rail-to-rail switching. This device is ideally suited for applications requiring a wide dynamic range such as audio and video signal routing, system monitoring and controlling as well as data acquisition systems. The ADG1208YRUZ-REEL7 has two control pins that support both single-ended and differential (push-pull) control. This is accomplished by using a separate differential control pair and a single-ended control pair and two selectable logic configurations. The control pins direct the analog switch to connect the positive input terminal to the positive output terminal and the negative input terminal to the negative output terminal, effectively performing a 4-way switch. The ADG1208YRUZ-REEL7 has a typical break-before-make time of 10ns and a typical on-resistance of 8.7 ohms. It also features a variety of specialised features such as an active low off resistance, an input protection schottky diode, and a power-down mode.
