When an electrically charged mass moves on a centripetal force field, the mass’s motion is deflected in a perpendicular direction, producing angular acceleration or angular velocity. This inertial angular motion is measured with a transducer, which produces an electrical signal representing the angular motion. The ADXRS620BBGZ operates with a high frequency electrical signal generated by a mini-oscillator working together with an electrostrictive quartz crystal reference element, providing an output signal representing the angular velocity.The ADXRS620BBGZ is designed to minimize noise, making it ideal for high precision applications requiring low noise. The output signals include both the DC bias that travels through the low noise/high bandwidth channel, as well as the noisy signal through the high-sensitivity/low noise channel. By combining the two output signals, the signal is smoother and more accurate. In addition, the device includes excellent thermal stability, low power consumption, and a fast response time, making it an ideal choice for high performance systems.The ADXRS620BBGZ is a great option for application where precision angular control is needed. It offers very low noise, high sensitivity, and fast response time.
